About this game
During my last year of university, I worked for two months at DevilishGames as part of an internship program. In this short period of time, we were able to develop and launch a small game, Kolumno.
I was the lead programmer for this project, but I also contributed on other areas of the development. I participated in the design of many of the levels, under the supervision of the rest of the team, as this was my first professional work.
In this game, players have to wait for the right moment and make the ball fall cleanly through intricate columns. Behind its apparent simplicity, Kolumno hides really demanding and fun game mechanics. This title requires intelligence, planification and patience; but the challenge doesn’t stop there. The game will also test players’ reflexes with puzzles that require the use of special abilities such as: stopping mid-air, accelerating, shrinking or breaking through the rings that make up the columns.

Kolumno originally launched in Steam, where players could download the game and play on Windows, MacOS and Linux devices. Some time later, mobile versions of the game launched for both iOS and Android devices. Finally, the game was also ported to the Nintendo Switch.
